I trained as an integrative psychotherapist and counselling psychologist

on an MA programme at Regent's University London.

I hold a BA Hons in Business and Finance and have a background as an entrepreneur,

running a design company for 15 years. Managing my business has deepened my understanding of work related stress,

and also allows me to assist  with personal career and professional development,

work-life balance, leadership skills, stress management,  goal setting, and time management.

I worked for the NHS as a therapist, supporting a GP surgery in South West London, providing short term 6 -10 week therapy sessions.

I am fully qualified in longer term therapy, which is particularly helpful for trauma, addiction and attachment work. I have a competent understanding of trauma work, and I am training in EMDR.

I also worked as an assessor for a therapy centre, have supported Al Anon and work for various charities.

As a humanistic integrative therapist, I approach therapy from a multi- discipline learning. I regularly draw upon cognitive, psychodynamic and humanistic approaches and incorporate mindfulness, visualisation and somatic experiencing.

I am also informed by CBT, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, and Existential theory.

I specialise in managing the following concerns:

Emotional issues:  fear, shame, grief, and expressing anger.

Psychological issues : psycho-somatic systems, panic attacks, anxiety and depression, self esteem concerns.

Behavioural issues: addictions, eating disorders, OCD, phobias.

Existential issues: Loss, separation anxiety, meaning and purpose.

Relationship issues: sexuality, conflict resolution, divorce.

Trauma: sexual abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, attachment disorders, psychological distress.
